Meanwhile, as report by Saharareporters Hundreds of N-Power volunteers on Thursday National Assembly in Abuja staged a protest over their unpaid stipends and sudden disengagement by the Nigerian Government without a substantial exit package.
The purpose of protest is for permanent employment or payment of the sum of N600,000 to each of them before disengagement.

According to National President of the N-Power volunteers, Kabiru Aliyu Pelemi, said it would be a disaster for the country if the government pushed over 500,000 beneficiaries back into the labour market.

According to the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Sadiya Umar Farouk, there would be exit package for Npower Batch A and B volunteers.
The Federal Government has promised to absorb existing volunteers into Government entrepreneurship schemes and engaging volunteers into viable private sectors.
She further strengthen that, We have commenced the transitioning of beneficiaries from Batches A and B into government entrepreneurship schemes and engaging private sector bodies to absorb some of the beneficiaries after the completion of psychometric assessment to determine competency and placement into various opportunities.
Note that either GEEP Loan would be given to Beneficiaries or permanent employment after psychometric assessment.
