 JAMB 2017 Registration and how to check your result – Www.jamb.org.ng – Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board,  UTME 2017 – The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB has not scrapped awaiting result for JAMB 2017 Prospective candidates for forthcoming examination.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, have made it known to all JAMB bite, those candidates who have awaiting result as their O’level result required by JAMB will now be able to apply for admission to high institutions, the rumor that JAMB has scrapped awaiting result for JAMB 2017 Prospective candidates for forthcoming examination was not true.

The rumor was circulating on media but some of media got it wrong, what JAMB meant by the statement is that if you apply for JAMB 2017 with awaiting result at the point of registration, you will make all your possibility effort that your O’level must be available while you go for screening for admission. Candidates now have the option of selecting different exams years and exams type when combining their O’level results.

This is why during JAMB 2017 registration those with results will be uploading their results, while awaiting result candidates will not upload anything, Please note that Jamb will not deny any candidates the right to quality education. Please don’t be misled by any wrong information concerning JAMB 2017.

But part of the press release by the JAMB spokesperson was misunderstood.

JAMB 2017 also introduces forth choice of high institution during application by candidates. Now candidate’s first choice can be College University, Innovative Enterprises Institutions or Polytechnic/Monotechnic. So if a candidate makes a public University his first choice, which means he will not have any public University to choose for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th choice. The candidate will now have remaining three choice, a College, a Polytechnic, private university and IEI’S. All candidates for UTME 2017 can now select NCE (College) or ND (Polytechnic/Monotechnic) as their 1st choice up to 3rd, choice and 4th IEI.

 

This directive was announced on Tuesday 28 February 2017 by the examination body, stating that it was part of its restructuring plan for UTME 2017.

JAMB also stressed we are trending to by guaranteeing no candidates as from now on suggested without his O’level result being provided. To accomplish this, JAMB will demand that a candidate supply their outcome on its site amid enrollment or later, however before affirmations begins for them to be considered for admission. We trust this will permit just qualified candidates to be considered for admission.

How to check my JAMB 2017 result

All prospective candidates will be aware that JAMB normally send results through text messages in 24 hours after you might have written your exam. After all you can also check your result via www.jamb.org.ng.

  • Create account with JAMB, you must provide all the necessary information required by JAMB for you to create a successful account.
  • Make sure you submit a working email address.
  • Then login with your email address and your password.
  • Select result slip printing then fill in your details correctly.
  • All result checking must be done online with your ATM card, you will be aware no more scratch card checker.
  • finally submit your JAMB registration number to print your result out.
